Attendance that cannot be faked
TrackClass replaces paper attendance sheets in university lecture halls with a three-layer verification system. When a lecturer creates a session, the app captures their GPS location and generates a unique session code. Students check in by entering the code โ but the system simultaneously verifies their GPS position is within 30 metres, the session code is correct, and they are on their registered device. All three checks must pass. Any failure is rejected and logged. Administrators get a full dashboard with per-student, per-course, and per-lecturer analytics, automatic alerts when attendance drops below threshold, and exportable reports.

The Challenge
Paper attendance at Sierra Leonean universities is endemic with proxy sign-in โ students signing in for absent friends. There is no accountability, no analytics, and no enforcement mechanism. Attendance records are lost, disputed, or simply fabricated.

The Outcome
Currently in development. Seeking pilot partners among universities in Sierra Leone. The goal is to prove the three-lock system in a real lecture environment and demonstrate measurable reduction in proxy attendance.
