Event discovery and management platform for communities
Treeventx is an event discovery and management platform that helps communities in West Africa find, host, and attend meaningful events. Organisers can create event pages, manage RSVPs, issue tickets, and communicate with attendees โ all from a clean dashboard. Attendees can discover events near them, save ones they're interested in, and share with friends. The platform is designed with the African context in mind: mobile-first, low-data-usage, and with support for informal payment collection.

The Challenge
Event organisers in Freetown were using a patchwork of WhatsApp groups, Google Forms, and cash-at-the-door collection to manage events. Attendees had no central place to discover what was happening in their city. Both problems had the same root: no purpose-built tool for the West African context.

The Outcome
Treeventx has hosted over 200 events since launch, including Tech Inspire SL's own hackathons and bootcamp demo days. The platform's QR check-in feature reduced door wait times at our last hackathon from 25 minutes to under 4 minutes.
